By downloading or using Chorus Reader ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
svetim.fm grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
The App is provided for personal audiobook generation from text you own or have the right to use. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to any content you import into the App.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SVETIM.FM, ITS AFFILIATES, OR ITS LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP; (B) ANY CONTENT GENERATED BY THE APP; OR (C) ANY OTHER MATTER RELATED TO THE APP.
Audio generated by the App is produced by on-device machine learning models. The quality, accuracy, and characteristics of generated speech may vary. We make no guarantees about the output quality or suitability for any particular purpose.
The voice cloning feature is intended for use with your own voice or voices for which you have explicit permission. You agree not to use the voice cloning feature to impersonate others without their consent or for any unlawful purpose.
The App, including its design, code, and models, is the intellectual property of svetim.fm. The underlying TTS models are based on Chatterbox by ResembleAI (MIT License) and use the MLX framework by Apple.
We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or third parties.
We may revise these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
